Long Table Banquets with Woodfired and Friends

 

This year I am excited to be cooking a long table banquet at the Rock Oyster Festival on Sunday the 27th July. Cooking with Ben Quinn from Woodfired Canteen, I have curated a delicious three-course menu (+ a nibble) to share down long tables. Good food, wine and conversation - how every Sunday should be.

Sunday 12:00 in the Banqueting Tent
Sittings are 2.5hrs

Menu

Bite on arrival :
Anchovies, pink peppercorns, good olive oil and mint

Vegetarian option – chargrilled courgette

Bread and Butter:
Tinned fish board, with pickles red cabbage and fennel slaw

Vegetarian option – anti pasti

Main:
Smoked lemon chicken, garlicky mayonnaise, watercress.
Cornish potatoes, salted butter, chimichurri
Summer carrot salad, flat leaf parsley and wholegrain mustard
Buffalo mozzarella, broad bean and pea, olive oil, lemon & rocket salad

Vegetarian main – summer mushroom, smoked skewers with lemon and garlicky mayonnaise.

Pudding:
Flourless chocolate cake, crème fraîche

Table wine included. Menu is subject to change.

About Long Table Banquets:

We’re cooking up a very special treat for all those attending Rock Oyster 2025. This year, we will be serving up a brand new four-course feasting experience with some of the UK’s finest chefs and restaurateurs within the convivial surroundings of our glorious Banqueting Tent.

Fire-cooking legend Ben Quinn, and his Cornwall-based Woodfired Canteen team, have invited a different guest chef each day, co-designing these very special menus together.

Tickets are £79 + booking fee and include a welcome drink, pre-dinner nibble and a 3-course seated dinner served on sharing platters. Table wine is also included.

Friday
Noor Murad, the Bahraini-British chef, author and former Head of Ottolenghi Test Kitchen.

Saturday
Karan Gokani, Co-Founder & Creative Director of Hoppers Restaurants.

Sunday
Emily Scott, Cornwall based chef, author and restaurateur.

 

Important Information
Please note – you must have a festival admission ticket to book a banquet at Rock Oyster.

Refunds & Exchanges
• Banquets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
• Places will only be held for 15 minutes, after which will be automatically cancelled without refund, and resold.
Banquets
• All our menus are designed as nut-free, but please be aware all our food is prepared in kitchens where nuts, gluten, and other allergens may be present.
• Banquets can only facilitate dietary requirements as detailed on each banquets page.
• Vegan alternatives can be made available, subject to registering via the dietaries form.
• If you need to register any dietary requirements for your booked feasting experiences for yourself, or others in your group, please do so by emailing info@rockoysterfestival.co.uk
• If you are booking for a group, please consider other people’s dietary requirements, we are in a field so don’t have readily available alternatives.
• Babies and little ones can sit on parents’ laps . If they’re in a pushchair please ask on arrival to be seated at the end of a table. Please note, we don’t have a dedicated children’s menu, so if you’re planning to have them eat with you they’ll need to be booked as an additional seat.
